Start-Stop Button

Hi everyone,

Probably my first post, but I'm having a big problem I guess.

The Start-Stop button doesn't work properly, when I press it it start immediately. Sometimes, it doesn't ... It just gives me a yellow icon on the dashboard.

No CC-ID or whatever, after 2-3 tries it works back.

Can someone give me hints on what to do for this issue?

Once it starts, it's like it doesn't have any problems when I try to re-start it the seconds, third, etc ..

Need some advice here guys ...

What is the yellow icon? Is it a car on a lift, or a snowflake. You have a diesel and if it is cold, maybe your battery is run down and the glowplugs are taking longer to heat. The key to the diagnosis is the yellow icon.

It was recently -35 C in Calgary and my 3 year old battery ran down and many of the accessories either stopped working, or worked erratically. Also, the clock reset to 00:00 after each shutdown. After I charged the battery, everything was back to normal. Now it has warmed to a balmy -20C and the car is back to normal.

It's not the temprature I think. It's +5 degrees so that won't be the problem.
Just went to a garage to see the car it's computer but didn't gave any problems. Might be the wires in the start-stop button. Damn ...
