extra wiring help, and pivot gauges not working

I found some extra wires in my engine bay and was wondering if anyone knows what they were originally ran for? also I have a 3 pod pivot gauge setup they are getting power but they are not getting any info, they are electronic gauges that run off the OBDII I followed the schematic and everything seems to be in order. except it has a stand alone power wire ran to the fuse box, the schematic doesnt have this. I disconnected it and only ran it to the OBDII, same result got power but no information. I provided some photos of the wires and pivot gauge schematic.

The wires in the top 4 pics are a left over install of the camaros hid angel eye kit

Yes the wires are from the camaross kit. The ballast blew and upon the request of the guy who bought the car I took them out. Also to get the gauges working the pins in the obd2 port needs to be modified.
You will need to move the pin. I never got around to modifying it. Just make it look like the correct connector and should work
