How's this for a quick delivery!
Well my car was ordered on 6th June, and I got an email yesterday telling me it has just arrived at the dealers. I was aware that the slot I got was at a pre-build stage - i.e. the colour was already fixed (but it was sparkling graphite which was what I'd ordered) and it was a 320d M Sport, but I was able to spec all the options still. Seems very quick, last new car I ordered (an Audi A4) took six weeks, which seemed quick. My first Boxster back in 2002 took about 7 months!!
So just got to wait until next Thursday when they're going to deliver it to my office. |

I ordered mine around same time. It was built last week, expected at dealer w/c 2/7. I thought about holding out until Sept for new reg, but thought better of it when I realised how 'well' they might store it for the best part of 2 months!

320d M Sport (E90) manual Sparkling Graphite Professional Nav Bluetooth + Voice Control Xenons Heated front Seats Auto Lights + rain sensor Hi-Fi upgrade Main priority was economy, but with some style and convenience! I'm coming from an Audi S4, so a bit of a change, but the test drive showed a better handling car than the Audi and whilst the V8 was nice, the fuel consumption wasn't!! |
