One stage polish recommendations

Hey guys,

Reading a lot around here. Working on my setup for my spring correction.

Plan on claying first.

Only want to do a one step polish. Can anyone recommend one polish before the blackfire wet diamond sealant I plan on using? I don't mind if I only get 70-80% correction. I simply don't have a week to do a full correction and my daily driver isn't gonna be perfect.

Maybe a polish that I could use different pads with for the level of correction?

Thanks

Scott

Hi Scott,

I think if you read through these few articles (don't worry, they're fairly short) you'll have a good idea of what to get for the one stage polishing. Please check them out and please post any further questions you may have...

Thanks Ivan. I gave those a read and was wondering if you have ever worked on a black sapphire metallic 2011 e90 and if so how "hard" did you think the paint was. I was also looking at Mezerna 2500 as it seems to have good reviews for a one step polish.

Thanks

Scott

I haven't used PF 2500 for a long time now, but it surely is a good polish. I've had good luck with M205 on black sapphire metallic as well, usually with Crimson Lake Country pads and maybe even White or Tangerine.

I normally use the Flex 3401 but these should all work well with the Porter Cable 7424XP or Griot's Garage polisher.
