I agree with this, I really am not loving the front end. I also love the interior, particularly the light one on the 1st car in the video but I hate the aftermarket look of the satnav screen.

Whats with the fake engine noise on the 320d sport clip
I don't like the red stripe in the cabin but the car in general is growing on me. Prefer coupes over these business spec saloons, so eagerly awaiting the 4 series couple. |

Off to a VIP evening this week, so I'll have a good shufty then. D.

Saw one in the flesh at dealer the other week and it looks much better in the flesh than pics or videos. The "droopy" bonnet doesn't look as droopy. The headlights which look a bit odd in pictures look pretty good in real life.

The wood look in the Modern looks terrible and the rear valance on the Sport looks SE.

I'm getting a bit fed up with every other promotion video or images of the F30 showing it in red. Seems they like red a lot for some reason with this one. WTF buys a red 3 series these days? There are a few, but not that many.

I'm not sure I have seen a red 3 series on the road. But I have seen many, many 3 series on the road. Red not so good for the F30 makes it look like rudolf or someone with a very bad cold.

Haven't you heard? Red is the new white. Lots of companies sending out red press cars these days as white is soooooo 2000.
Am I the only person in the world that actually quite likes pop up nav screens? The double bulge of the e90 dash was horrible and a screen low down in the stereo position just don't make sense. Good choice of road, drive it regularly myself during the winter. No comment on the fake exhaust note. |

The sport was filmed on the A82, Great road for some fun and the views are stunning.
I like the Red sports model, Not sure about the full cream interior on the luxury model and the SatNav looks like its been plonked onto the dash as an after thought. |

The video reviews that I've watched all seem to rave about the F30. Was watching the Autocar one on Youtube the other night and the guy loved the handling and dynamics (same guy as on that M5 vs GTR video on the other thread). Certainly makes you want to try one.
I'll be waiting till the M Sport and fast diesels are out first though. |
