CRT spoiler or OEM performance spoiler E92

Was thinking of getting the OEM performance spoiler or the CRT style one from IND for my AW E92. Which one do you people like more?

IND CRT

Vs

OEM Performance CF (without painted line)

the IND is an OEM with CRT pinstriping...the second one is a rep.

But if you're talking about just the color then I vote for clean carbon look or paint the whole top

I did not know the JL was a rep, thought it was OEM lol, and you're right, I just wanted opinions on the pinstripe

They should be the same; might be the angle of the pictures. Also the IND one has a high gloss coating on it I believe, so it looks more shiny.

WAIT. What does your car look like? What exterior mods, wheels, drop do you have?

If you're stock, an m3 lip might be your best bet. If you've got some aggressive ext mods, the OEM performance spoiler gets my vote.

This

Not really a fan of the CRT style. It's weird done to match the body IMO. The CRT is silver body with red pinstripe which looks decent. White body with white pinstripe is odd to me.

A black car would look awesome with red CRT style stripe.

Holy thread revival, so I'm once again looking at things.
I've been going for a clean OEM look, so I would like to keep that. I'm swaying towards the OEM Performance (unpainted) spoiler.

Some info on my car mods:
AW Painted reflectors
and all the factory 335is mods (diffuser, black tips, etc)

I'm getting mixed opinions from this thread, let's hear more!

M3 lip sounds fitting for you, the white pin stripe reminds me of those chrome trim you buy at kragen's and install them around the door/trunk/window trim. They must of gotten that idea from the volk time attack wheels lol.

I think you may be right... I keep looking at this thread!!
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=402972

So it's basically between OEM M3 spoiler (very clean) vs OEM performance spoiler (slightly more aggressive.) Decisions...

My vote still goes for the m3 spoiler. The OEM perf spoiler is nice, but it sounds like you have simple, clean mods and adding another pattern to it just draws attention away from everything else. just my 2cents, of course.

OEM Performance! Of course I may be biased since I have it on my Jet Black E92 :>)

i have the performance spoiler replica from JL.. i would say fitment was 99%. im really happy with it, but be advised that i dont think you can attach the JL replica with 3M tape... theres not much contact area on the bottom of the spoiler to hold it down well... i had to use betalink and i havent had a problem.

I've got the OEM Performance Spoiler attached with 3M tape. You need to use a layered approach for the front tape to make it fit correctly. It's solid as can be and I can remove it if ever needed. Betalink on the other hand is forever... Unless you want to respray your trunk.

hmm maybe the underside of the replica is a bit different, i havent seen the bottom of the OEM but i just couldnt figure out how my spoiler would keep on at highway speeds with just the tape.. its ok though i dont plan on changing the spoiler now i love it.. the only thing i might replace it with is the entire amuse cf trunk.
