A little help for Sarah's last wish
For those of you who are not aware, I lost my partner on 13/12/12 after an 18 month battle with Breast Cancer, she was such a loving and caring person and at the age of 28 did not deserve this (not that anybody does). she had just qualified as a nurse and would do anything to help anyone.
One of the last things Sarah asked me to do was to raise as much money as i can for those who have supported her through the tough times. Breast friends and The cancer Support Center have been incredible and gone to every length to assist, we really would like to repay them as best as we can. http://www.suttoncancersupport.org http://www.breastfriends.org.uk If you have a spare pound or so could i ask you to help me with her wish. If you cannot afford anything then can you please spread the word as far as you can in hope to reach those who do have a spare pound. http://www.justgiving.com/sarah-tasewych Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Rest in peace beautiful xxx

Mate I am so sorry to read this.
It seems like only a short while ago I commented on your build thread and was looking forward to seeing the progress. I realise now that must have been around 18 months ago and of course, you'll have had a great deal of strife in between. My mum survived fairly serious breast cancer in 2009/10 and I know how awful it can be. Cancer is an absolute lottery and one of the cruellest and most unpredictable diseases that can affect mankind. I am sure there is no consolation we can offer but to reiterate, I am so sorry to hear of your loss and I will of course make my next donation with you and Sarah in my thoughts. Matt |

Shortie. Nothing I can say can make a difference. I can only imagine what you're going through right now.
My wife was diagnosed with BC five years ago and has just stopped her course of Tamoxifen. We're some of the lucky ones. And know from first hand what great work the likes of Cancer research UK and our own NHS can do. Count us in Mate. |

Even though we are strangers i feel your pain. It puts a lot of things into perspective reading that.
I pray that you can go through the pain. I can't imagine how hard it must feel. |

I have just read your post twice as I couldn't take it all in the first time. I can't comprehend what you must be going through. I have made a donation and hope that Sarah's wish of a decent sum raised comes to fruition.
All the very best Paul |

Dreadful news Shortie, you have both my deepest sympathy and profound empathy.
Sadly my younger sister was diagnosed only recently, and is currently undergoing chemo after a mastectomy,so I can identify with you just how tough life can be travelling on such a dreadful journey, whether as a sufferer, a loving partner or family members. All the best for the future, and a donation is the least one can do.

Shortie, your post brought a tear to my eye I have to admit. Brave of you to be so up front about this sad news and I am sure she would approve of the thread. I hope the next few days are bearable for you, it's an emotional time of year. All the best pal. Donation on way. Trust me, it gets easier, in time.
