I am frustrated at that fact, however. I am not supposed to be the expert at this...
Wouldn't these dealers have more "inside info" than us? I saw a document, earlier on the forum, advising of HD and 6 FL availability for March production; so, the dealer would have known about this prior to my ordering, I think.

Now, the best I can get is the Dealer Installed option...as you know, this has less functionality and is more expensive...

This may be naive, but, I am truly trying to find an excuse for him...I am just having a very hard time in coming up with one...
The best I can do is: 6FL was not meant for me at this time...something to look forward to having later...lame, I know.
On one hand, I hate burning people, on the other, buyers should not have to miss on options simply because the dealers are not educated....

I don't want to ruin it for you, but, I was in the same situation...Call your CA, your car may well be on a ship by now, despite the message on the 800#.
Mine was on the ship for 4 days prior to me realizing this.
I hope you catch the same luck as I did.

thanks for the help dude... but i checked today and it was IN TRANSIT!!!!!!!

who knows what i have left if it became in transit today???
and how often dose the WW website update so i know which ship im on


1 more thing.. dose the 1800# say anything other than "your vehicle is in transit" until it gets here?
why i wanna know that is so i should not call everyday lol..

This waiting is driving me crazy. I checked the 800# last night and got "In Transit" for the first time. OC still shows "Awaiting". It looks like the next two boats out from Bremerhaven are the Atlantic Concert and the Courage on 4/23. I'm hoping my car will be on one of them and this torture will end soon. W&W doesn't show any info on the car yet. Does the boat have to sail before the tracking info becomes available? Anyone have any idea of what kind of delay their might be for updating the info on the W&W site?

If you're on a WW boat, auto cargo tracking doesn't update for 48 hours after departure.

Go to the CN Velocity web page and register - you will have to fill out business particulars, but your company need not have an account with CN. I got a confirming email the day after registering.
Now I'm hoping the glut of cars at the Halifax port gets cleared out (because of the CN strike slowdowns) before the Otello is scheduled to dock on May 1st.

Yeah, my car is on the Otello which sailed April 19th, but the WW website only showed a record this morning, the 23rd. Finally!

Hey, thanks Minnow. I actually just tried this out and the quick trace system did not recognize my vin number ??? I'm hoping it's still not stuck at the Halifax port given the slowdown.

Double check that you entered the correct VIN - if you did, then it means you're not on a train yet. But keep checking, as they update the status often.

Maybe some of you guys can give me some luck here, the wait is killing me. I've been calling my CA daily who by the way is a really nice guy, but he insists the system is not providing him with a revised delivery date. It was originally for the 4/24.

I checked the CN Velocity site this morning, my car is not yet showing, but then again it just arrived at Halifax port yesterday.
