okay so i like the looks of it, but what is the advantage of it? i mean do they open sepratly? is that the perk?

Is it more cushier??? It looks like there is more padding beneath the leather. That might be one huge advantage instead of the regular rock solid armrest...

No, it is just my humble opinion that it is more visually appealing than the North American stock unit. The driver's side slides as well (..see pic).

It slides forward approximately 2". It's a pretty significant distance if you examine the pictures.

Does it hold or click into position? I just wonder how easily it moves back and forth. I dont want it sliding back and forth as Im driving... Only when I want to move it...

I was really into getting this, UNTIL I saw those last pics. I have Terra leather, so when its extended forward, that means the 'black' plastic it slides on, is going to stick out like a sore thumb....damn.

maybe, but cheapest I can find for Terra is about $300. Thats alot to me, esp. not knowing it wont look funny.
