I thought about the same but I think you have to do some cutting to the car to make room for the 8374.

Yeah I heard some moderate modifications to the subframe. I haven't talked with them about it but if it isn't too drastic I'm gonna try it out

Thats what went wrong so far. I have done alot of maintenance items. Car is stock. I use 0w-40 Castrol European forumula but switching to Liqui moly 5w-40 soon just because.

flushed every fluid
ofhg

fan and relay replaced
sparkplugs
oil change every 10K

That's all I did since I got it at 150K

I'm thinking of walnut blasting now.

24k miles - 2011 E90

- Getting ready for its 4th oil change
- PO had brake fluid changed twice due to age, I guess
- charge pipe blew at 18k, day two of my ownership, replaced with CPE

Just waiting and watching for some of the common issues, but so far so good.

Figured I would post in here for those interested in 2011 N55 reliability issues.

2011 335i, purchased last September with 70k miles on it. Currently has 86k miles.

71k: Water pump, thermostat, upper radiator hose, belts, OFHG.

74k: Front brakes, new clutch, oil change.

78k: Spark plugs and coilpacks.

80k: trans/diff flush and oilchange

84k: New motor due to rod bearing failure

86k: Break-in oil change

At this point I could've had a LCI E90 M3 any way I want with low miles, and still had left over $$ for that V8 gas bill. Oh well, ya live and ya learn I guess. This will for-sure be my last non-M BMW.

Oil pan been leaking since 74k
Plugs and coils changed 82k
Oil change at 80k
Oil change at 85k with oil analysis which came back clean.
VCG is starting to get a bit dirty right now
Watching ofhg and already bought new gasket.

Stressed about rod bearings going out

2011 335i e92 at 50k.

Bought it with 30k 3 years ago.

OFHG and Coolant expansion tank replaced under warranty around 30k

Walnut blasted & replaced coils/plugs close to 40k

Oil change around 45k

VC, VCG and battery replaced a little under 50k

Coils, plugs, maf and map replaced at 50k

Oil change really soon

2011 135i.

30k miles

Bought from dealer when a few months old as an ex demo.

Was running OEM turbo at high teens in lower to mid rpm band and low teens in upper rpm band from mid 2012 to mid 2015 and from mid 2015 have been running a PS2 targeting 20psi min and 25 max

Bar normal services (which were just services and needed no additional work), mods I've done (as per signature) and some re-call related work done by BMW, I've done no additional maintenance work and car has only needed new tyres and a drive shaft after I broke original during a 25psi 3rd gear WOT run!
