i'm already facing similar feedback from my missus, so i feel your pain ahhaha. I told her that next year I'm pulling the trigger on a P-car (my mistake, shouldn't've told her) and she absolutely lost it! She also added that I can not buy another car until I settle other higher priorities.. I was gonna tell her to get F44ked but I didn't. I ask myself "When else am I supposed to buy one? When im 40 plus? Hell no, I don't see any point in that."

I'm getting the urge to buy a bike again. Never thought of a Harley before but I'm getting a little pudgy for the Jap bikes these days.
I've never been a big bike fan especially after I did a 360 degree spin in the air and landed on my head (no helmet) that was a while back. I used to love the appeal of modern performance bikes until I saw the mega factories - harley davidson episode tonight and the craftsmanship of the exhaust pipes alone just blew me away. Now I understand why people pay so much for Harley's. Pure craftsmanship.
For me it would either be a Harley or a BMW S1000RR.

Carrrrrmon guys grow some gonads and go buy your bike, the woman will love it as she will think that she can have something just don't let her see the sales note for purchase.
At 40+ its time, go for it. You don't want to look back in ten years and wonder what if.

Sorry Pav you have missed out your just to old for L plates

Ahh the old ask for forgiveness not permission strategy.

Mighta worked but I already had my birthday dinner with the wife last weekend, one good note while reading the wine list was finding a 40odd year old bottle of 707 that was more than ok
