Dealer service and screen wash
Took my car in for service, 2 days later and having only used the screen wash a little the warning screen wash low light comes on, seems like the dealer didnt top it up during the service.
Am I asking for too much but my old Hyundai dealer always topped up the screen wash. |

It's not on the service list for the E9x!!
On the E46 they only check it on Service II Can't remember on the E6x, probably every 3 years Mike |

Bought a £27K AUC E91 325D in August, an ex BMW management car which had been prepped by the Yorkshire BMW organisation before delivery to the dealer. But when I first came to use the washers for the first time a couple of weeks later it seemed that only water was being squirted onto windscreen!!
No taste or froth. Took it back to dealer where it was confirmed only water in system so to their credit they filled it up FOC with the correct stuff. |

I deliberately topped mine up before I left home to take to local BMW Independent (bought a 5L bottle of OEM screenwash a while back) and blow me down they charged me for filling it up!!
Challenged the mechanic who said along the lines of "we always fill up with screenwash - you can never completely fill the bottle 'cos there's an overflow pipe". Load of b*****cks if you ask me - unfortunately I'd already paid by then. Not overly inclined to return |

Haha so we have some dealers charging for topping up screen wash when it doesnt need topping up and others not topping it up at all. I just bought a 5L bottle of proper BMW stuff off BMW ebay shop for just over £15, not to bad really but ill be asking that they top it up next service if I remember.
