I'm still not sure about this 3 stage manifold....base on E90fleet (a well known member from the past) N52 already have 3 stage MF

here also talks about the old M54 engine had a 2 stage DISA and the N52 had the 3 stage and how it works
so what prove we have that only some N52 had the 3 stage?

the 325 has an N52 but single stage manifold. Yes, only SOME N52s have the Three stage, there's no disputing this fact.

328s have a single stage in the US if it's an N52. The euro 330 has the N52KP high output with the three stage intake manifold. The N51 has a three stage I think but a lower compression ratio.

When this is done. I would love to meet you and "compare" my 330i w/ your conversion. I saw the previous attempts to do this (almost attempted to DIY it when I had a 325) but did some math and figured I was better off buying a 330 (in the color/option combo i wanted).
Props to the guys working on this project

Yup, it has less compression for sure and has the 3-stage intake manifold. It has the same part number as the 330's.

As 128i owner, I am very excited about this. I always dreamt of 130i sad they never brought it over to US! and this might help a lil. subscribed.

Your car has the 3-stage intake because it has lower compression. It would have very little power if it didn't. You can probably tune it, but you won't be near 330i territory.
