Buying used: best warranty config
Looking to get a 2011-13 e93 335 soon and trying to figure out the warranty options. I will be getting one that is still under the new car original warranty, this will transfer to me as I understand. Is there any paperwork required for this transfer?
Not sure if I should be looking for one that is Certified Pre Owned as well, as I want warranty past the original new car warranty. I know CPO is only 2 years/50k mi extra. Does this 2 yr/50k mi start immediately or starts the day after the new car warranty expires? I'm not sure whether I should be looking for a CPO or one without CPO and buy an extended warranty (should I get an extended warranty from BMW or and aftermarket?) or look into BOTH CPO and get an extended. Any info would be great, I browsed around but couldn't find a solid answer. Thanks guys. |
