Can I fit Mich. PSS 275/30/19 on rear of E92 cpe w/o rubbing?
Was told the Pilot Super Sports were too wide for 9.5x19 Miro 111's without rolling the fenders. I think I've seen others do it without a problem. Any thoughts?

I'm 245/35/19 in front (19x9) and 275/30/19 in the rear (19x10). No rubbing.

That would depend on the wheel offsets.

I have a hard time believing that 275/30/19 PSS will fit in the rear.
For my E92 pre lci w/ -2.4 rear camber, I had trouble with PSS 255s. H&R sport, now coils. Stock fenders: 19x9.5 ET35 with 255/30/19 PSS rubs on huge bumps ^ +5mm spacer, rubs like hell. Rolled fenders: 19x9.5 ET35 with 255/30/19 PSS no longer rubs ^ + 12mm spacer, ET23, rubs slightly ^ +10mm spacers, ET25 , does not rub

And PSS 275/30/19 is equivalent to other tires like hankooks/falkens/yokos and etc at size 285/30/19

That math does not compute, by the way. 12mm spacers on an ET23 wheel effectively is the same as an ET35 offset. So is a 10mm spacer on ET25.

Quote:
ET35 + 12mm spacer = ET23... ET35 + 10mm spacer = ET25... Aka, math is good. And in your case of misreading: 12mm spacer on a ET23 = ET11 10mm spacer on a ET25 = ET15 Spacers MINUS from the POSITIVE offset, not ADD. Dafuq, c'mon man you have 3k+ posts don't tell me you've been spreading that BS all around. Imagine a very UN-aggressive wheel with ET45, you put a 20mm spacer on it, does it make it a ET65 wheel? Aka, does it make it even LESS aggressive?...

Ah...I've been reading that math BACKWARDS. That's embarrassing.

Thanks guys, still not sure what the answer is. I know the PSS's are a bit wider than other brands and I'm currently running 255's on the stock 18's. I guess I'll just have to go to the shop and do some comparisons. Will post what I find out
Update: Went to the body shop today....will roll the fenders and go with 275s Thanks to everyone for your input! I will post photos when done. Last edited by Kravin99; 06-18-2014 at 08:43 PM.. |

Thanks for the pics. I checked out your thread, the car looks great! I'm going to show this to the guys at the shop and tell them to f/o if they say 275's won't fit. The wheels look great as well on your car.
