E91 330d 2007 Engine misfire

I have done a search on here but can't seem to find any answers.

My 2007 (57) 330d M Sport Touring has developed a misfire at light throttle. Noticed it nearly a month ago whilst on Holiday & it has progressively been getting worse since. Only seems to happen when the car is warm. Mainly happens after you have been driving at a set speed for a while then, when you accelerate it misses briefly then chucks out smoke from the exhaust (DPF removed) On modest to full throttle all is fine. Just seems to happen on light throttle.
There are no warning lights on & no fault codes present. Car is a manual and has done just shy of 130k
After googling the problem I can find threads on various forums about the same problem being experienced by other people but without conclusion.

All help & advice is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards, Kevin

I would guess on an injector that is faulty. Often they are bad on no or little throttle.
On full throttle you hardly feel it.

My money is on injector

Does it nod on idle. On the rev counter

It will be picking up on the nozzle.

No real biggie. Recon and re fit.

If you are in the midlands i know a top place to get it sorted.

It is absolutely fine on tick over. No misfire, no poor running. It only does it when the engine is warm after 7 or so miles. Just been out in it this evening and all was fine. Behaved itself perfectly. If it was an injector, wouldn't it be noticeable all the time?

Kind regards, Kevin
