Got pulled over!!!
After driving my wife my to work near Exchange Place, this cop flags me down and tells me to slow down, stop and lower my window. My first thought was "Fuck, I hope he's not pulling me over for my tints". lol! I l know it couldn't be for the angel eyes, because they're not illegal. When I rolled down the window, he asked "what springs do you have on your car"? lol! I was like "H&R sports springs and Koni Yellows" then I asked if he was on e90post and he said yes (but he hardly posts), he had a 335i as well and just noticed that my car was lowered and liked it. I stayed there to chat with him for a couple of minutes and then proceeded to go to work. I got his SN, but must have copied it down wrong or something.
So Casey, if you see this post, what's up!!! You should start posting here, there are a lot of great members here. And you should come to one of the meets to meet everyone. End of story. Just glad to see that there are actually cool cops out there. lol!

reminds me of a story i'm in Saint Louis now with my R32 and one sunny sunday i decided to do launch control (AWD burnout) and fly down the street, got to the top of a hill, looked down for cops, saw none and ripped it again, then i looked up in my mirror and saw a quickly approaching impala which happened to be a cop, so i ducked into a gas station and lined up to get gas even though i had a full tank, cop gets out and says "in a hurry are we?" i just responded with "not really" then replies "you spun all four tires at that intersection and got up to speed very quickly, i just said "sorry, the weather is getting to me" he responded "it is a nice day, man i love R32's, I wish i could have one, my brother has a GTI and i have an audi, slow down a little and enjoy the day" I almost peed in my pants, i had to stay in the gas station lot and wait for the cop to leave and then i laughed for a couple mins and drove away |

hehe I had a situation like that but the cop was acting weird... he pulled me over looking over my shoulder from far away to see if I have my seat belt on, he couldn't pin me for anything else as i was going about 20 mph.. than he proceeded to ask questions about the car, it was in my old sebring. He tried acting so excited about the car and saying how he wanted to get one and how comfy was the ride and all that stuff.. than he let me go on my way...
Maybe I'm just too suspicious and over reacting but it felt weird a cop stopping you with all the disco lights and shit and then asking about the ride. :shrug

I remember one time I parked on canel street in chinaton, waiting for my girl for a few mins (I'm sitting in the car ,engine still on) a cop walk to me and I was like"oh my god! does he going to give me a ticket? cause I was illegal parking at that moment. he asked me to roll the window down and said" man you got a nice car! I really don't want to give you a ticket." I said" I'm sorry officer, my girl is coming soon and I'm leaving right now. he said alright then he just left without giving me a ticket.
