[WTB] Pair of 335i turbos (TD03L-10TK3)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Hi all,

I'm looking to upgrade the standard turbos on my 96 mitsubishi twin turbo vr4 galant. If anyone here on the forum could direct me to a place/dealer that sells them or to a member who has a pair left over from an upgrade this would be supremely helpful.

Thanks in advance

Madhav

I have to source the cartridges from new BMW 335i installed TD03L-10TK3 (49131-07005) turbos and put them into the stock VR-4 turbo housings...
So yeah if you're happy to part with just the cartridge, lets talk business.

Why would you want such a small turbo? Isn't the stock turbo on the VR4 the TD04-13T like the WRX?

Go with a 16G from the Evo3.

I wish the stock was the same as the wrx, would make life a lot easier.

The stock turbos on the 8th gen galant VR4 were only very tiny TD03L-7T's. These cars were only released in Japan I think and have only recently been approved for import into Australia. People have successfully got td04's on, but it takes a @#$tload of supporting mods to do it. Then the running gear is at risk also.

The standard 335i turbo is a lot easier, it's almost bolt-on, and will allow more hp to run through.

The problem is, you can't just call mitsubishi to get them. You gotto call BMW cause they're designed for BMW, and straight away the price goes up from $300 to $3000. There's gotto be someone though. Hopefully 335ihellraiser will come through with the goods

A/R design your price is fair, however I'm really only after the cartridges as a project, plus I'm a cheapskate, so $1750 is not what I'm looking for. I can get a whole engine for this. I'm thinking a few hundred bucks max. I can get 2 new garrett Gt25's for $1750 also, and they would flow a lot more HP.

When I first posted this thread I wasn't sure of the going rate for the standard 335i turbos, I thought it may have been similar to the other mitsubishi TD's on the market. However I found they're obviously not!

If you go to the dealer and order them, you will soon find $1750 is a steal for a set of MINT OEM turbos
