Battery wire lose...?

Hi Folks,

I just got my E90 Battery exchanged at a local dealer, but he may have forgotten to attach a wire... Do you know where I need to connect this one?

Thanks,

Reflex

I don't know what that would be connected to. Do you see the other end of it anywhere? Is the car running ok?

Car run's great, no issues.... but I dont' have another 330i that I can compare to. The small wire is coming out of the bigger red (thick) wire that connects to the + pool on the battery.

Thanks for your help!

On my 335 there is a wire that does not get connected. I changed mine out for a lightweight battery and found the "extra" wire when I was hooking up the new battery. Not sure what it is for. I have seen it mentioned in older posts. Could be for some option that we don't have. Not sure. I don't have the factory alarm, not sure if that mught be one possible reeason.

That is most likely the connector for the battery master switch, used during transport and removed before delivery. If you come across threads where people spotted a mystery wire sticking out from beneath the rear seat, they've found the other end of it.

Thanks guys for checking, I'll leave the wire as is.

BTW: I don't have the factory alarm either.
