Throwing a few codes, 71, 86 i believe
The whole problem started a few weeks ago when, in the morning sometimes i would get a fault that the adaptive headlights werent working, however it was always fine after work so i couldnt bring to dealer.
then i start getting a right turn signal fault however they are all fully functional. and the other day when i turned off my car told me i needed new front and rear brakes and is now saying maintenance soon, any advice or thoughts about whats wrong? the brakes are like 7k old maybe. thanks. |

How is the condition of the battery? Low battery voltage can throw some strange codes and show strange electrical behavior. Also, check to see if the alternator is charging the battery correctly. Just a thought.

What was the fault for the AHL error? Was it the headlight looking symbol constantly on your dash?
That's what I had when I burnt out my SMC II (AHL) module. |

yah something in the 300's, i cant remember but it was the adaptive headlight warning and whenever the warning is on they headlights are broken, but again, most of the time the fault is not thrown and they work fine. I guess i just have to bring it in to the dealer soon.
Anyone have any experience with the brake pad faults being erroneous? How would I test the health of the battery? |
