When I bought my 120d two years ago I came across Big Motoring World Group, selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4, but didn't like the look of their cars much, so I didn't even think about buying from them.

Kept my eye on BMW prices by browsing Auto Trader and kept coming across Big Motoring World Group, selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4 over the next two years, but to be honest I felt all their cars were crap. Didn't like getting SPAMMED by them after sending an enquiry once.

Then when I found my current 330d I did look at cars available from Big Motoring World Group, selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4, but the cars were still leggy rubbish.

So I never even troubled them with a phone call. Also don't they advertise a car as having 120 miles when really they mean 120,000 miles? Don't you hate it when they do that?

This thread is classic - had me in stitches and I'm amazed I missed it.

I'd never heard of Big Motoring World Group selling Second hand used BMWs, in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4 before reading this.

Hello.

I am thinking of changing my car soon, want another bmw. I want to know whether anyone knows of a franchise that isnt completely shit, but is in the business of selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4.

I have heard that any such establishment claiming to be in the business of selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4 is completely shit.

After a google search i found a company called Big Motoring World Group, and would you adam and eve it, they are in the business of selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4. But they are completely shit.

Can anyone please clarify whether Big Motoring World Group, selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4 are completely shit?

I have been on a few forums and it seems that Big Motoring World Group, selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4 have a tendancy to be completely shit.

Would i be better off going elsewhere, or is everyone selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3 M3 Z3 Z4 completely shit?

Sorry if my questions are vague, but its a big motoring world out there. I dont want to be ripped off or suffer from deep regrets.

Just had this bit of info passed to me -

A customer bought one month ago a used 730d from Big Motoring World. They also sold him a two year warranty, underwritten by Warranty 2000, that cost £1000.

His car has gone into a workshop for a remap, and whilst there the customer is complaining of a gearbox fault that might necessitate a replacement gearbox. Not a problem you'd think given that he's paid £1000 for a two-year warranty, sold generously by the con artists at Big Motoring World

So imagine his shock when reading the small print, that the warranty only kicks into effect 3 months after the purchase - the car isn't covered under warranty during the first three months post sale !!!!!!!!

Further more, there is an excess of £100 on the warranty, which is fair enough I suppose. The funniest bit though is that the maximum amount claimable under warranty, per each and every claim, is £1000 !!!!!!! So therefore, the customer has paid £1000 for a warranty in which only £900 is recoverable...

PLUS - the warranty does NOT apply to wear & tear items, and the burden of proof to show that a warranty claim is NOT the subject of wear & tear lies with the customer!! So basically, you're fucked each and every way !!!!!!!!!!!

So the bottom line - Big Motoring World are not only cowboys when it comes to selling cars, they're borderline CON ARTISTS too

Warranties like that should be thrown in. GF ha gearbox on one. Cost 1k on a Corsa 1.8 16v. You really need proper warranty on a expensive motor

Hi Guys,

This is my first time post. I have to thank you all for setting this thread up so it appears on google. I am in process of buying a BMW 530D M Sport for this company and I am glad I did a google search! Thanks for the heads up! I won't be putting my business with them after reading all the complaints.

Each time I've seen the car that meets my requirements, I ring up and it's either not arrived or it's just been sold. Even when they tell me it's coming in tomorrow, I ring next day and it's sold. Then they always try to fob me off with a car, mileage or spec I don't want. They only today told me to go on their site www.bigmotoringworld.co.uk Big mistake! I hardly ever type a website in, always click on google which auto completes for me (I'm lazy).
Well to my surprise, I see complaints in the auto complete box. SO I obviously have to read the links.
For me, it's a 500 mile round trip at least, so I would expect the car I was looking at to be there.

It's really put me off buying a 3 years old car now. In the past, I've bought a 1 or 1.5 year old car from a car supermarket over the phone and paid a deposit. Then just gone and picked it up. Never even thought there could be faults on it as I've always bought low mileage newish cars that are still in warranty. Now I have to do my homework and maybe look a bit closer to home. Can anyone recommend a reputable independant in NW?

Once again guys, you've really saved my bacon and I guess it's another point on your score sheet!

Regards,

David
Ps. Just getting the gist

Big Motoring World

Tell your family and Friends to keep well away from these Crooks. I agreed a deal on a 5 series complete with a trade in car. I paid my deposit and went back several days later with the balance only to be told the deal was not on at the original price. They wanted another 1000 pounds on the previous agreement and got around trades descriptions by lowering the price on my trade in car by that value.Naturally I told them to F*** off and have passed on my experience to Trading Standards.

It was interesting to note that the car upon close inspection had over 20 issues that were not addressed upon me returning to buy the car.

You have been warned so keep clear of these wide boys in cheap suits.

Check out the cheesy video on their website. Should be nominated for the British Comedy Awards.
