R from the 2009 LCI thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=220

But that's OK, should have been in it's own thread anyway.

M-Sport bumper looks good.

Sports package?

Forgive my ignorance. Is this the new "sports package" that you select when you order or is this something else (ie aftermarket or M sports package?). I ordered an 09 335, and I'm a little confused. Thanks in adavance!

As noted, this is the full BMW factory installed M-Sport option package, not available here in the US. It includes the body kit, different interior materials (seats/steering wheel), different wheel options, anthracite headliner, at least one unique color, and a few other cosmetic changes.

You can order the E90 sedan body parts from your dealership (front/rear bumpers and side-skirts) for the current M-Sport, so I would anticipate that we will be able to order for the 2009 cars soon enough. Full kit not available here, and to much $$ to try to retrofit the entire kit.

If you search for M-Sport, or go to the BMW UK site, you can get more info.

Primarily because BMW NA limits our choices here, which helps to keep overall costs down. Plus they probably see a very limited market for this particular setup.

[OT response below...]
tii? Who knows. Officially there will be no 1 Series tii model (at least as of earlier this year, I stopped following the 1er status after launch), but many of the parts are now available through BMW Performance.

There has been much discussion of a 1er and 3er model coming that is positioned above the 135/335 and below the ///M. The tii name has been used occasionally in reference to these possible future models. BMW insiders also talk of a performace oriented 1er model coming in the future, but it won't be an ///M.

One thing is for sure, we have many many new models and variations coming in the next 12-24 months from BMW.

Don't be so sure we WON'T get this in the states guys...

I drive a ZHP, basically what this car is. A friend of mine has an e36 M-Technic, which basically is the same s my ZHP and what this car is...

I hope we will get it and I hope they call it a ZHP, I'd like to have two ZHP's in my garage, an e46 and an e90. Granted I probably wont be able to afford the e90 until its 3 years old (like I couldn't afford my e46 until it was 3 years old) but hey, 2012 will be here before you know it...

Then my e46 can be my DD/Beater, lol...

No feeling the hood to many lines on it and the front bumper looks like a e46 M3. I like the Mtech now

Overall, looks nice! I don't like the mirrors, too big and odd shaped. The hood is weird, too. Lights, grille and bumpers are ok.

Usually these packages are available late in the life cycle of US BMW models. Usually becomes a option with 2 years left in a models cycle in the US. For example you can now order the 550i with the M-sport package. Both the E36 and E46, had the M-sport option late in life cycle.

i think the rear light redesign looks weird. They are trying to make the "L" shaped taillights like the 2000+ bmws but this time it didn't work out as nice.
Not a fan of those rims too. Well, this is only my 0.02 cents

Agreed. I was referring to the current situation. Fingers crossed for a ZHP package in the US in 2010/11!
