However, my E90 does not have electric seats but does have the wing mirrors that fold up and therefore the dipping passenger mirror when reverse is engaged.

Parking mirror

Guys, anyone use the function where the left mirror drops when you select reverse? Mine does not seem to work, I and can't see anything apart from where the switch is supposed to be, which I've done. Mine broken?

Would be handy at work as we have a strict reverse parking rule.

Have you actually got this feature?

As I understand it you have to have either the electric seat package or one of the power folding mirror packages. Then with the mirror selector switch set to the drivers side it should dip when you select reverese.

From your spec. I don't think you have this feature, sorry.

I don't actually use it. My passenger mirror points enough at the side/bottom of the car so I know where the wheels are when parking next to a kerb.

Personally i use it every day as I have to reverse in to park a couple of inches from a brick wall everyday.

The only thing we have established for sure, is that all electric memory seats in the E92 are not required to have the reverse dip feature.
