AMS intercooler design for the 335/135

lol, I guess the good news is that my warranty will be expired by the time the AMS parts lineup is finally completed/available.

Car is 10 months old with 9700 miles btw :P

well, turns out i REALLY needed that intercooler.

3rd session i blew the engine up.

so by the time i get my car back this should be ready right??

End tanks arrive at the end of the month

Cores are here along with the silicone kits. We are geared up waiting for those cast end tanks.

In the meantime here is a pic of my car with the IC......I swear to go there is an intercooler in the pic lmao

did you ever release IC pressure drop and efficiency numbers?
and are you using the stock charge pipes ?

btw, where did you get that vented (?) hood for your 335 ?

No hard numbers on the core just yet...really just because we have not had the time. Rest assured we will have all of that come release time. We have our biggest drag racing event of the year this weekend and its split over two events. One at Englishtown in Jersey and one in Ohio. We have three drag Evo's here that have a collective Wheel horsepower of just shy of 4000!!! Our drag car, A customer car (drag car twin) and a special secret EVO we have not talked about.....taken up a great deal of time. Hopefully now we can devote some serious time to the BMW

Oh the hood is from Seibon. I think its the BM style hood.
