Just bought a Bmw need help!!

I currently have a e90 and chicago and im in ATL studying for my board exam and bought a e32 740i. How do i get a temp? i asked the DMV and they said they can't give me one because i have IL i.d. You guys know the rulings on how to obtain a tag?? I searched and searched and found nothing.

Vehicle needs to be registered in your state of residence; your drivers license should be issued by the same state. Register it in IL.
