Spacers for Avant Garde M359

Hello guys,

I have bought a set of AG M359 and Hankook V12 (235/35/R19 265/30/R19) from Pyspeed and I wanna push the wheels out bit for an aggressive look with 10mm Macht Schnell or 12mm RS Technik from Pyspeed since the RS does not have 10mm spacer , all around with Eibach Pro kit, stock suspension E90 LCI.

Will it rub a lot? I need advice to put the right spacer on my new wheels.

i have the same wheels with same tire sizes. if you put spacer its gonna rub 100%.

Those specs with spacers will likely rub. They're much more aggressive than what we'd recommend.

The E90 LCI does have a 8mm wider track in the rear than the pre LCI models. The AG M359 19x9.0 ET35 with a 235/35/19 up front and the 19x10 ET38 with a 265/30/19 in the rear is already considered aggressive for the E90 LCI. You're going to have some serious rubbing issues if you add spacers in the rear.

Thanks for an advice Alan, I have found that putting small spacers like 5mm is not safe to run with. Need at least 11mm spacers to put on and it will be too aggressive for the E90 LCI.. and of course rubbing like hell.

there is no need for spacers at all.. it sits very much flush.

why is it not safe to run 5mm spacers?

does anyone know? can you run 5mm spacers? I do not plan to lower my car. I have the same exact wheels and I have a 2007 e90 335i sedan sport package.
I was thinking 5mm spares in the rear only, but I was wondering why the OP was saying it is not safe.

The reason for 5mm spacers not being safe is due to the fact that the BMW rotor hat (the place where the wheel rests) has a 10mm lip for the wheel to rest on. This lip, in combination with the bolts makes the wheel 100% true and allows the whole system to maintain its strength and integrity. A 10mm spacer or more carries a hubcentric ring which extends the BMW original lip to allow the wheel to rest onto (the circular part above a 10mm spacer). With a 5mm spacer and stock bolts, not only does any spacer below 10mm not have this crucial hubcentric ring, but also using stock bolts can allow the entire wheel to rest essentially on the wheel bolts. Obviously not a safe and desirable solution in the least as the whole weight of the wheel and rotor is being borne by the wheel bolts.

I have run 5mm spacers (w/ extended bolts) for a while and I have not had any troubles. But not to say the next person will work out the same.

Honestly I would suggest maybe doing 10mm spacers all around, this would give you a more flush looked with those TIRE sizes. With that tire size in the rear + the +10mm spacer you might need a LITTLE extra negative camber. maybe like .5 of a degree and you should be good
