Picture request: black housing e92 LCI headlights

As the title suggests, looking to see if anyone with e92 LCI headlights have blacked out housing.

Not looking for any aftermarket headlights just the gray housing painted black or any custom design with the OEM LCI headlights.

I am looking to go with this look but I think it would look much nicer with black headlight housing:

Me?! No! That's preposterous! I've never done this in the past. Why would you ever think that?

As I was unable to find a thread for e92 LCI headlights specifically I decided to create one. If you find a thread that has more than one example I will gladly have this one closed/removed.

I know mashi is one of the few members who have actually had this done on the e92 LCI headlights, although he did go a little further and upgrade the rings as well. Just wish there were a few more examples of people who didn't black out everything, I like a little contrast.

Pj's old ride. He didn't change the rings, just blacked out the lights. Looked amazing.

Sorry to be a troll. Just having fun.
The second picture you posted was actually stock rings.
I'll see if I can find more pictures too.

I don't know much about how they are constructed is it possible to gut out the grayish reflector pieces on the left?

Nope. You can paint them or leave them white-ish gray.
You can't really do much else.

Been wanting to do thus to my headlights too. Did you do something to the turn signals or us everything just painted?

I have LCI headlights and want to black them out as well, I have the white eyelid and want the housing to be darker.

Is there a good DIY guide for LCI headlights? Or just headlights in general?

Yeah I wouldn't, the LCI e92 rings are the best and brightest on any BMW IMO.

Blacking out the housing and the white eyelid would be nice though.

Pretty sure 180designs is in NY somewhere. They are experienced in e9x headlights. Cost to do this kind of work ain't cheap though.
