GPS update?

Hey guys, picked up my car about 2 months ago.

Came to notice that although the GPS is really good, and I have to say that I love the fact that I can see the downtown buildings in 3d!!! It really bugs me that it wont tell me what street to turn on.
It only says turn now, turn in 200 meters etc...

My stupid Magellan GPS has all the names and was 150$ LOL

Any idea? I dont mind paying for the update dvd, but is there one that will fix it?

You need a newer GPS with Text 2 speech function. As far as I am aware, there is no software way of doing that.

Probably better off just getting a new one.

Not sure I understand what you wrote...

The car is brand new, 2009 with idrive.

I'm not talking about the magellan GPS I had in my previous car. Talking about the one I have in my 2009 e90.
