ATL - Looking for a good mechanic

Hi everyone,
I'm Gideon. I'm currently around Norcross and Alpharetta area. I'm looking for a reputable mechanic in this area who is well experienced and moderately priced. Please offer your suggestions and experiences if any? Thanks.

The guys from Bimmerforums have a list of Independent Shops they use, because most of them have much older Bimmers. You can check that out. They also should have a few forum topics. A lot of the guys on here have Bimmers that are still under warranty. But a few of them are going off warranty like mine in a few weeks. So I may be joining you soon on looking for a good reputable mechanic. I'm still debating on doing the extended maintenance.

Thanks for the useful information. Mine has a almost 75k on it. I put 4k in just one month recently. I purchased extended warranty from Fidelity Warranty offered by Nalley bmw from Decatur. Later, I cancelled it. I'm biting the bullet of not having the warranty. Everything is good so far.

Wow, actually I didn't say it right....my car has an extended warranty to 100,000 miles (CPO) but the maintenance is expiring in about 1300 miles or Jan 1. I'm thinking about buying the extend maintenance which is about 2 Grand. I figure it should help with the value of the car if I have to sell it. Ouch on the repairs you had to make.. Was it a major malfunction? $4G's is a lot.

Try Harrison Motorsports in Alpharetta. They specialize in BMW's.

I have a great shop, The Shop in Norcross. They are listed as a Land Rover specialist but the owner (Luke) has an Audi and a Porsche and he loves and got started sports cars, he just didn't specialize in them as a business. I just wish I had known about them sooner. 678-352-4900. Btw, they aren't fast but everything else is outstanding.
