Does anyone have the pics (and numbers) for the new wheels that will be for the '09 e90's?
What model is shown in the pics for that e90 335i? Are those the ones that replace the 162's? I like the current e90. BMW sure did a lot of cosmetic updates in this refresh. I wish they would have left the hood and kidney grilles the same. There was a needed change to the rear lights, but I dont' really like how it is now. And I'd have to see how the new headlights look with only the Angel Eyes on to really tell if I like it better, but from what I see in the pictures, I like the LED's but don't like the hood. |

Blacklines > facelifted tailights.
Although the headlights are nice, i wonder what the e92 facelift will be like...

LOL...if Bangle sneezed, we'd have an even busier lower front end and bigger mirrors!

The bottom half of the front bumper is just ugly. The tail lights look mental. They are not truly L shaped and have too much of a triangle look to them. I think the blacklines better.
Who designs this shit? I can come up with better stuff in my spare time. |

I really want to know what "Fine Line Aluminum" is?
Anything is better than the "Miller Lite Aluminum" in the current cars.

Prefer the 08' E90
I'm very glad I got my E90 335i for the 08 model, although I do like the headlights and 5-series type kidney grill. Not a big fan of the hood, bumber, and I definitely don't like the taillights.

I like the old one better, and the older iDrive knob looks better.

Glad the info has finally broke... you can't imagine how many emails I have gotten in the last week telling me that the new iDrive is not coming because of something someone wrote 5 months ago.... the same time we said it was, but stuff happens and all sources and info is not always correct; just amusing how people will tell you you are wrong but not based on their own info.
Things I am still working on is the widened track (as I have been since we were told about it) and also this aluminum trim. The only things I can honestly say we were not correct on (admitting we were wrong) was that there would be more change to the interior.... I have a feeling cost cutting stepped in from the original info we were given, and the Direct Injection (which I was still hearing last week) which is b/c the US fuel (sulfur level) is still not stable enough and is the same reason for the oil issues w/ LL-01/LL-04. I am glad that the diesels were not pushed all the way to December which was a possibility. Also nice of them to tease with a 335d SPORT WAGON! All in all the car looks more along the lines of the future models so it was much needed and the design cues from the CS and 7 are there. Does anyone know if I can retrofit the new iDrive into my current cars, or the 08 we are picking up in Munich this fall? Thanks for all the support everyone has given... it is appreciated and I hope we can keep it up and supply you all with info here and elsewhere! -M BTW- the DCT will NOT be in the sedan it is for the 335i coupe ONLY!

Pretty cool! Anyone know if there will be a 335xdt? That would be fun.
We sedan owners don't take well to the anti-sedan bias in the media. Thumbs up you say?!? A travesty. We e90ers would love the DCT too. |
