The G35 has some serious issues in handling. I remember driving one and it felt like it was going to FLIP. |

the g35 coupe looks better than the 330 though, I have to admit. not care for the g35 sedan that much. it looks horrible.
handling wise, it is very boring car during my test drive. punched it a couple times and took some quick corner, didn't feel much excitment and the blind spot is killer on the coupe. |

When the car first came out I immediately picked one up. For the value its a great vehicle I dont think anyone can deny the fact that Infiniti pretty much hit it on the nail. Great looks, great interior, easy to drive, the exhaust note is sex for OEM as well. Nowadays..... not so much. The worse drivers tend to always be these goddamn g35 drivers, driving like it was their 10 second moment to shine in F&F.

No offense, but the G35 Coupe looks like it has a HUGE piece of plastic casing as the body of the car.
On the other hand, the G37 Coupe looks much more fit. My cousin recently leased one, and he loves it very much. I admit: The G35/37 does have a sweet exhaust note from the factory. |

I have a 2004 G35x, which is arguably the slowest G35/7 ever made, 260hp, 5AT. Ran a 14.82@93.34 with just an intake from a 350Z and K&N drop-in filter. This is obviously nothing to brag about. CandD got a 14.6@96 with the 328i, which has 30 and 60 less hp and torque than my car.
I drove my friends stock E92 328i 6AT from AC to NY, and the car felt INSANELY quicker on the top end when compared to mine. My car is heavier, AWD, and im sure the gearing is much better on the bimmer. |

I don't really like the exhaust notes from the VQ nissan/infiniti's. They sound too over-engineered and fake. They are unique though, I'll give them that. You can recognize a nissan/infiniti vq instantly by ear.

I love the exhaust note of my car. I constantly roll down the windows to hear it...

They look and sound nice, but the bottom line is, a 328i with an exhaust did not run neck in neck with a 6MT G35 Coupe that was being driven by a person with a brain.
The G35 is slow, the G37 is slow, and so isn't the 328i. They are all overhyped when considering performance. They are solid daily drivers with some get up, the key word being some. Side note: If anyone is about to bring up "package" this and "trim" that or "interior" save it.

plz...G35/G37 is not slow. G isn't over hyped, G pretty much brought Nissan/Infiniti's reputation back into the automobile community. G is a great great car IMHO.

I went from 335 to G37, although I saved some cash I regret the move. The car is fun to drive, interior is nice. But overall it was a bad move because its much much slower and even dumping 12k into a TT kit you'll be making 400-480whp safely. My 2 month old G37s is up for lease take over Coming back for a 3rd 335i.

I had an 05 G35 coupe 6MT before my 335i and it makes no sense to me at all that a 328i can beat it. The drivers probably couldnt drive.
My brother has a 08 G35 sedan AUTO and that thing is quick. It can easily keep up with a 335i stock. My 335i is faster but the G is no slouch at all. The G is a very competitive car. The G37 sedan is probably equal to a 335 now because of the increased hp and 7 speed auto

I still think that the g35 coupe is one of the best looking cars of all time. I am saying this and I never owned one. There is a TT'd one around here that absolutely raped my m3. Car looks completely stock except for exhaust.

You might be a better driver than most but no way in hell a 328 keeps up with a g35 in a straight where skills not needed..AT or MT doesnt really matter. G35's are pretty quick.

What a joke. No way does a 328 keep up with a G35.
