To be honest, I didnt like the sound...I would buy a sports exhaust for 335D if it sounded like this.

you're right, although I know the e92 M3 is faster 0-60 when compared to the 335D, it doesnt feel any faster due to diesel torque...335 feels like I am doing 0-60 in 4 sec's even if its 5.5-6.0 seconds.

But I will say something about the sports pkg suspension...it feels quite solid and was happy with the handling.....maybe its because I wasnt expecting that much...I have always felt that the e36, e46 and e 92 M3's felt abit numb(when compared to the e30 which was more pure) hence I have always put some Bilstein PSS 9's or KW V3 coilovers on them.

Is the 335D my garage queen type dream car?, no...but is it my dream daily driver?...possibly....

I think that about sums it up right there. I've never minded driving around town, in fact I've always enjoyed it with the occasional "but". The amazing thing about the d is that you can enjoy driving it as a daily driver without any real "buts". A surplus of power, a decent amount of room, reasonable comfort, respectable handling, stellar gas mileage, good looks, moderate tunability...I have trouble finding any downsides.

Btw, clock a second gear launch sometime and you will find that the car performs significantly better than most think it does (especially in 0-60). In stock form, lower fives are attainable and with a tune (starting at circa $300) you'll be in the mid-to-high fours...not bad for an oil sipper

Thanks for sharing, PR. I'm really liking that first video...a little Too much.

I've been crazy busy at work & haven't called your boy yet. I will try to give him a ring tomorrow.

@mact3333 when you launch on M2 make sure DSC is COMPLETELY OFF!!! and make sure NOONE is around aotherwise you will be dancing all around. I have mastered this and when i have the ocasion to prove myself I do it in front of a lot of people specially on a signal light.
A couple of days ago an Infiniti G Coupe(he had ALL the gizmos large wheels great exhaust sound) decided to test me , he was on the signal light as i was and half car in front, he decided to launch fast, BIG Mistake!! I was on his ass spinnning wheels on M2 and M3 and passed his ass real fast!! needless to say he backed down and I flashed the emergency lights for VICTORY!!! he stood on the side road mesmerized LOL
