Unhappy Need Help With Rear Pass. Window!!

did some searching but still need help. so after letting my sister use my car she returned to tell me that my rear passenger side window doesnt roll up. she exlpained she was driving around with windows rolled down. when she got to the mall the rear passenger one didnt want to go up. she said she was able to pull the window up by hand. when i went to check it out it sounds like the motor is working but that maybe something else doesnt let the window go up. after trying to get the window up i am now stuck with it half way down. im also unable to even pull it up by hand. i will be taking it to a window shop or and indy this week and would like some advice on what the problem might be and how much it will cost to fix. thanks

Similar Problem Any help yet?

>>>>>2006 e90 330i n52, window tint>>>>>

I am having a similar problem. Both rear windows have trouble rolling back up after rolling all the way down. Maybe an anti trap feature. Usually turning off the car or putting the car on battery power will reset the lock feature and you will be able to roll the window up without a problem.

But why does this problem happen in the first place? Anyone know?

WATCH THE VID.

mine ended up being a bad window regulator. your seems to be different. it could be the anti trap feature but im not sure. weird that it does it for both rear windows. good luck fixing. i would say its something electrical and not the regulator.
