These 2, along with Goodyear Eagle F1's were the 3 that I considered. If price isn't an option, the PS3's are most likely excellent but they're rather new so I haven't seen reviews from the board. The Eagle F1's are very solid but are near the PS2 in price and can be considered a little noisy. For a good price to performance ratio, the Vredestein US has solid magazine and user reviews on its side. All 3 are solid performers but I'm most likely going with Vredestein.

I have Dunlop Direzza Sport Star Spec. They are not that expensive and give very good traction (almost as good as my Toyo Proxes R888). I think Car and Driver did a tire test and the Dunlops were as good as the PS2s.

My Falken FK452's are amazing. Very grippy, quiet, and handle good in the rain (for an UH tire that is). I would buy these again.

Great Wet Performance + Great Dry Performance + Good price...
Dunlop Direzza Star Spec Z1's FTW They are comparable to Bridgestone RE-11's and Yokohoma Neova AD08's but $300-$400 cheaper for all 4.

i'm surprised that nobody mentioned hankook ventus v12 evo. they got 2nd place on car and driver review although vredestein is another one that i really debating...
i am looking for set of tires for this summer too and considering amoung this, falken, dunlop, Vredestein and yokohama advan, but considering the price, i think it's almost no brainer... btw, this is wrong section. mod please move this to wheels/tires section

I have a new set of V12's on and have only heard good about them. Still snow here though
Perhaps this is how the car should be equipped now Last edited by R1000K3; 02-14-2010 at 05:02 AM.. |
