brake pads with low brake dust
I'm really getting tired of the stock brake pads producing alot of brake dust. Are there any other alternatives that I can use that will produce minimal brake dust? any recommendations?

I had them on my old G35C and they were great! No dust in like 2 weeks, and pretty good stopping power too... |

Axxis Deluxe are very low dust...ran a set on my old E34 525 and loved 'em. The Ultimates have more dust than the Deluxe from first hand experience, but have a bit more performance FWIW.

+1 on Axxis Deluxe Plus.
I had them on my E39 and loved them. Very little dust and performance was similar to OE. I see that they are listed for the E90, however, can't find stock of them anywhere. |

I've got a 328i too.
Axxis currently doesn't have a fitment for our vehicles yet, but they are good low dust pads. I am running Akebono Euro on the front and Centric PosiQuiet on the rear. I've used PosiQuiet pads for years, due to the low dust. To my surprise, the Akenono pads are even lest dust than the PosiQuiet. Simple DIY procedure to swap out the pads too. Can't stand the OE dust! |

Bingo...I put really low dustless Rofren pads on my first Audi A4 back in 1997. Yes, it had no dust..and my wheels looked very good. BUT, in the dry the car braked poorly..and in the rain..it was dangerous..it braked terribly. Live with the dust..brake decently..and just wash your wheels a lot.

Dust is a good thing. Dustless pads usually don't stop the car as well and overheat easily. Too bad, you can't have the best of both worlds!
