leaving the car for 2 months
i will be leaving the country for the summer. is there anything i should do before i leave the car? just wanna check with y'all, thanks!

You might want to tell us if the car is garaged or not. I garage my M3 and my E93 for 6 months each with maybe a couple times driving them in between.
I make sure all fluids are up to spec, the garage is not environmentally controlled but provides plenty of protection. I would raise the tire pressure a little and either lower the tank level so when you return you can refill with fresh fuel or fill the tank full. 2 months will not cause the fuel to degrade that much but if you want protection the fuel stabilizer would suffice to cover things. I also use a battery tender in the winter months only when I know I will not be back to drive the car for a couple months. I hook mine up to the engine jump start location rather then try and get to the battery on this car. Hope this helps some. I honestly think if you did nothing as long as the car was garaged you would be fine... |
