E90 LCI: Performance Aero Kit or M-Tech
Hey guys, looking to get a bodykit for my car.
Would like to know which of the two you prefer! I'm actually more inclined to the Performance Aero, just because its more rare, and because i already had the M-Tech on my E90 LCI back home so i wanted something different. The debate is really just the front, as i'm definitely going Performance Aero Side Skirts, and rear bumper. My car's color is Space Grey Open to all! Many Thanks! Performance Aero Kit (ALAN* sorry for borrowing ur picture, please let me know if you would like them taken down). (The infamous* sorry for borrowing ur picture, pm me if you would like them taken down) |

Check this guy out. He has M Sport Front + Performance Sides + Performance Rear/Diffuser. I think that's what I'm gonna do myself. Cause I like to have fog lights, but I love the performance diffuser.

Just like everyone else said, the best of both worlds (at least, IMO...I know kinda contradicting) is Msport front + Perf Rear...
However, if you already have/had an M-sport...Then, there's not much point in getting another one. Why waste $$$ on something you already have? Get the Performance all around if you wanna feel something (not that you'd actually feel something) different and be one of the 'more rare' 3-series around. (My personal dream for my car is getting performance aero kit) |

LOL i honestly find the M-Tech to have a more aggressive front with its sharp lines and all. But yes it is modeled after the stock bumper but with a more pronounced effect.
On the other hand, the performance kit just looks more sporty, and thats the look i wanted with my car! So now all i have to do is wait for 2 to 3 weeks for BMW to ship from Germany, and another 1 week for it to arrive. |

That being said, I actually just ordered the "mixed" combo myself last night. I went with the mtech front with performance sides and rears. Hopefully it doesn't take 3 weeks though

How much did it cost you to order the kit and did you go through the dealer?

Bought from Tischer BMW (parts) Much cheaper than the quote i got from my dealer @ herbchambers BMW of Boston. Dealt with Evan who is a very friendly chap, there was some lag in communication, which i later found out that Evan had been on leave. Nevertheless, when hes around, Evan promptly replies all mail, and the processing @ Tisher is very efficient. The day that my parts arrived from BMW Germany, Evan had them shipped over to me immediately. Got them 2 days later. Total time for order from Tisher + delivery from BMW Germany = 2+ Weeks. Here are some teaser pictures. They won't be installed for another 2 weeks because of thanksgiving holiday. The boxes: The rear bumper: The front bumper + brake ducts for 335i (This is literally how everything looked when i opened the box up) Sneak peak under all that cushion. The aero side skirts. |

Question:
So If I go with the BMW Performance kit I lose my fog lights? And with the M Sport I can keep them?
