Radio keeps switching from iPod to FM
I have a 2011 e90 without iDrive. I plug my iPhone in via the Y cable that comes from BMW. It has the lightning connector on one end and a USB and aux cable on the other end. Sometimes when I am trying to listen to music, the radio will start playing a song, but then switch after a few minutes to the FM input. Its as if it just decides to disconnect from the iPhone or loses sync or something. It doesn't do it all the time, but its very annoying. At first I thought it was the cable, but i tried another one and it still does this. It has happened with more than one version of iOS and more than one iPhone. Does anyone know if there is a solution to this?
