due to recall. i felt like the car was starting to get sluggish. i took it to the dealer and they inspected the turbos and they had premature wear due the faulty wastegate known to the n54.

as far as the warranty goes, it will be 24months from purchase date. I can call my service advisor tomorrow to confirm mileage coverage

I know it's hard to picture urself driving an auto when uve prob driven stick for so long. I encourage you to go test drive one. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The shift response is dead on with no shift lag when in manual or sport mode and nearly no shift shock when in normal drive mode. The Patel shifters make things a little more exciting. Auto in traffic & and "m" in the canyon or when it's time to have some fun.

Honestly BMW got it right (IMO) with this engine and drivetrain setup
