Does anyone know how to take the front tweeter covers out without taking the door apart on a coupe? Thanks.

I don't think you can. I remember that when I took my door apart, the trim extends way past the door panel and you can't pull it out with the panel on.

Well I think for E90 you'll have to take the door apart since they are one piece with the window trim. I am pretty sure they are different on the E92.

tweeter removal

I sent you a private email. It can be done. I would have attached a scan of the BMW TIS, but don't see how to attach a file. Send me you email address and I will send you the TIS.

If you are willing to cut the tweeter wiring/connector then just lower the window and pry the pod out with your hand.

Tweeter covers

Let's make sure we are talking about the same thing. If you are asking about the grille over the small speakers behind both side mirrors, removal is not that big of a deal. Leave the door panel alone. I did it on an E92 coupe after a body shop guy dented it with his thunb. If you are talking about speakers mounted lower on the door panels, never done it, no comment.

Just for post closure since I sent you the TIS.

Then, no door panel removal required. Not a real big deal. Just slide up and pull off.
