HPF Intercooler Couplings OEM or SILICONE?

Hey guys I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on the HPF Intercooler just want to ask the track experts which intercooler couplings are better / safer on HPF Intercooler silicone or OEM couplings, and why?

Thanks.

Probably best to go OEM, they have a less likely hood of failing. I have the same FMIC, and the OEM couplings work great.

OEM! I have HPF intercooler with the OEM couplings and it has been flawless for the past 3 years.

Anyhow went with VRSF intercooler, just couldn't refuse the offer I got. Silicone is holding up for me but thanks for the replies.

it's in my car now .. so no pic

think of a trumpet. He use bent the ends out to form a small bend so if the pressure will push the clamps like it will get stuck on the trumpet ends
