2011 335xi lease offer opinions
Hi all,
I've got a configured 335xi as such: -Montego Blue premium paint -Auto transmission -comfort access -park distance control -active cruise -heated steering wheel -heated seats -sat radio -navigation -(premium package) Reason I put premium package in parenthesis is now that I review the sheet, the guy forgot to add its price in. So, with destination, the guy priced the following: 36mo lease, 15k mi/yr, $0 down, $707/mo. He said that there's room to work there when I finalize the deal. How much room should there be? What do you think I should be getting before I sign and drive? Lastly, any dealers here that can tell me if BMW offers a corporate discount for KPMG (my employer)? We're the auditors, so I know other companies offer us some discounts, but I forgot to ask when at the dealership. |

If I go with a 335d optioned up to the same price, do you think the price will be about the same or maybe lower because of a higher residual value? |

Fady,
I have an e90 2008 335xi with the following options: Metallic Paint Steptronic Premium Package Cold Weather Package Sport Package (17") Comfort Access Navigation Park Distance iPod (6FL) I also did 15k/year miles and I actually leased for 39 months, no money down for $705/month with tax. Our options are nearly identical give or take a few that almost cancel out. I am in Philly so we are in similar locations as well. Also, I structured mine exactly as you describe in Post #4. So it looks like you are getting close, but might be able to do a little better. Not to second-guess your list of options as I am sure you have done your research, but I would seriously consider adding the sport package, it may not have the sport suspension, but the seats alone are worth it (the wheels/shadowline arent too bad either) - the sport package also adds paddle shifters. Also the upgraded stereo might be worth it for you depending on your need for crisp audio. Lastly, be aware that the active cruise control may interfere with your radar detector if you use one. Considering I ordered mine in February of 2008 right before the bottom completely fell I would think you could do a little better than I did. Then again Obama has declared the recession is "over" now so maybe not (I wonder if he get a "Mission Accomplished" banner to memorialize the end of the recession?). Good luck! |

Thanks R12 for the feedback. They do seem pretty similar. I don't use a radar detector but I'm also wondering how effective and useful adaptive cruise is because I do drive a lot. So, I'm not sure if I absolutely need it or not...can't decide yet.
By any chance, if I don't bite by 9/30, does anyone know what the lease offers will be in Oct or Nov? I have to order by late Nov so I can get it by late Jan (my current lease ends then) but don't know if I should jump in now or wait for better offers, especially in time for the holidays. |
