How long does it take you to reach 50k miles
I currently drive a very low profile Black 2010 E90 320i. Bought it back in November 2010. It's been a month past its 2 year anniversary and so far I've clocked up at approximately 46k miles. This is a daily driven car just for the record.
I'm interested in knowing how long it takes you guys to reach the 50k miles mark,DD or just a weekend/track car. I hope I'm not alone in almost reaching the milestone in a short period of time. Cheers! |

Almost 5 years -- 14,940.
(My DD, but I telecommute now. I also have more than one car to spread my limited mileage over.)

My 08 has 44,000 miles. I DD it to work (around 6-7 miles round trip) and use it for regular commuting and errands during the week. I have another car that's a 90% weekend driver. I used to drive the BMW more, but as it stands now it'll be a while before I hit 50k. Probably another 9-10 months at a minimum. Right now I'm averaging less than 200 miles per month, but do occasionally take it on short road trips as it's more comfortable than the weekend car

Thanks for all the feedback. It seems the general consensus around here is much more than I expected. I believe what I have achieve in the space of 2 years is a bit high? Most guys have another car that they use for DD. As i only have the bimmer, i really dont have any other option. i do enjoy clocking up the miles though. Sort of like, an achievement of some kind for me personally.
After almost 50k miles and 2 years running, the only problem i have is the coil, the rest are running fine. I will however make a full inspection next week. Wear and tear stuff like bushing, beltings, hoses leaking. Fingers crossed. |

I'm financing my dad's 09 vert. I got it when his lease ended and in 3 years it had 52,000 on it.
I could keep this car til it's 10 years old and it might not hit 100k. |
