Are these speeds on public roads or at the track? Please remember, there are some of us that just want to make it home to our families.

Public roads or track! Mine was a quick highway merge that turned into 120 when I saw how clear it was.

Ugh. Sorry. I was trying to express that it's pretty irresponsible to drive at those speeds. You are not the only person you're putting at risk.

Completely understandable point to make but like I said "Mine was a quick highway merge that turned into 120 when I saw how clear it was.".

There was literally not a soul around, so I opened it up once. Others at risk: deer.

Modded N54's are capable of 180MPH + Just saying. At 160 speedo maxes, about 5,400rpm as "ive seen in some videos" and keeps revving close to 6,400. Heard actually gearing ends like 194MPH.

Boost is one hell of a drug

Has anyone made a habit of hitting top speed every week or so?

Depends on where you are. The Germans drive those speeds every day. There is nothing intrinsically bad about going fast, you just need to do it under the proper conditions. 130mph in 65mph heavy traffic is stupid, 130mph on an empty highway is nothing to get excited about. 130+ on the Autobahn is the best reason to buy a new BMW.

All that said, while I had no issue with 135mph in my car in Germany, I doubt it has hit 100mph here in the states. I prefer to avoid riding in the back seat of police cars with my hands cuffed. An I like my stupid cheap insurance.
