Ossdesigns still operational?

I've sent to emails to them this week asking for a quote and not one response. Are they still in business? Their website makes it appear like they still are.

If not, any recommendations for getting my headlights customized with LED rings and blacked out?

Their website is very out of date and their response time is incredibly slow. I had contact with them in April about getting one headlight done because of an accident but the car ended up getting totaled. So I doubt that they have quit. Expect week or two response time and a wait of a few months to get a booking.

Damn, forget about it... Imagine what the response time would be if one had any "issues" with the work done or any "warranty claim", when the response time to even get a quote is weeks.

Thanks for the heads up. I will look somewhere else or perhaps just buy the rings and do the work myself.

Anyone has any good recommendations for LED rings for angel eyes?

BavGruppe leds , basically has a plug and play kit but u still have to open the headlight. Few of the members say the owner of it is very rude and racist but the product seems ok, just look into it

What a shame! It appeared OSS designs was without question the place to go for headlight modifications. Certainly not a service you want to go the budget route on for sure.

Their work was great but they were very busy as a result and quite understaffed. This leads to slow response times and a very full schedule of builds.

Pretty sure I've read a guy named Tom owns and operates Bavgruppe. The racist a$$hole you are referring to is just a guy who uses their product for his works. Bavgruppe is good quality from what it seems, just pricey. I'm likely gonna get the Umnitza DTM rings when I tackle my E90 lights as I've already talked to them and they answered all my questions promptly.

Well if "Tom" wants business to do better, he should really get Carbone to stop his racist shit.. And also his threats and all that nonsense.. Smh...

Let's be real with all this, you are ultimately paying for labor from these companies. The cost of halos and materials is minimal. LEDs are almost all coming from china. Go look on eBay and you'll see halos exactly like these companies use for under $100. Bavgruppe charges almost $300 for the set, which you can get on eBay or Amazon for like $70 bucks. And their plug and play harness.....get a male H8 connector and hook up the ground and hot wires to it. I'll be doing my E90 LCI lights myself soon and I'm gonna do a build thread. Already bought a practice light and had the lens off within an hour. So if you aren't handy and willing to take the time and effort to do it yourself, then I guess you have no choice but to pay the $1500+ these companies ask for.

I am about to order my rings and clear lens. I plan on taking lots of photos and making a build thread. I?m still trying to find info on how to mount the outer ring. If anybody has any insight on that it would be appreciated. I have a practice light I?m gonna try mocking things up to. So if I need to make some sort of bracket for it, I?ll have it ready for when I do my actual lights.

As asquared stated there are rings on eBay as well. But the reason why I personally ordered BavGruppe was because I've seen a lot of their products on Instagram and have personally messaged people who have done it, their responses 99% of the time were that they were satisfied. So I guess to me it was more of a sense of security. I've ordered LED's from eBay, guys like IDMJTOY and whatnot , all garbage material.

Keep in mind man that the E92 headlight is very different than the E90 LCI light, so just looking at it, I don't know if that method is going to work. On the E90 LCI, the ring sits in front of the projector, not around it like the E92 light.

I watched a few videos in the past on various brands, i saw one video where the gentleman used this bottom portion of the angel eye and glued the new light to it, so it acted like a bottom mount. Possibly running some thin copper wires through it shouldn't be an issue either. And very true e92 does vary from the e90. [IMG][/IMG]
