First trip to the strip with PURE St2. Looking forward to some real tires and more practice (I hit the kick down on this run and I need a trans flash) E35ish + Meth. http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32405

E35 + Meth. Link to a log included in the post above. I think low 11's are possible with some non all season tires and a little more practice launching down the strip. This turbo loves 4th gear and I need to get to that gear faster. I'm going to try again on Friday and see how launching in 2nd compares to my 1st gear attempts. I was launching at about 3k and short shifting 1st. Once I get a better technique figured out I'll run on straight race gas and see how it goes.
If that doesn't get me in the low 11's, I will switch over to straight Protune and see where that takes me.

Are you manual or auto? I was hoping for a better time. That 60 foot is good but I think I can hit low 12's with the stock turbo. Good luck on the 11's!

Nice video
Qq, car misfiring at higher rpms, around 4800 to 6000 and then fine to red line. New plugs about 2k miles ago. Before that same issue, changed plugs (had 20k on them) corrected the problem but it's back???? I am scratching my head here. Sorry for jumping thread, but since I have a pure stage 2, thought it was relative. |

Misfires are an absolute bitch to eliminate because there are so many variables in the equation and they don't happen all the time. |

I hear ya- it's just weird
Happened got new plugs, ngk, problem solved for 2-3k miles. Now it's back. Got new coils and injectors 20k ago, could this be bad? Just don't feel like playing the guessing game. Should I go back to my protuner and maybe they can see something? |

When intake charge density goes up (IE increased boost, meth, etc), it's more difficult for the plug to fire. Higher output coils and / or tighter gaps to offset.
