Anyone elses JB4 not clear o2 sensor codes?

Ive got catless downpipes, and a jb4, and I still throw o2 related codes. I thought the dp fix was built in.

Yep it'll clear and stay cleared when you put auto clear on.

Yes it will..... I have mine off now and when I get the o2 code I use option speedo 1 tach 2 for delete . 1 - 3 turns auto clear on 1 - 4 turns it off

It will not achieve emissions readiness with auto clear, it will just auto clear the codes, much like Vishnu CanClear.

With JB4, you would still have to get the external DP fix to achieve readiness should you need it for something. This is unlike Vishnu which has a o2 modifier (DP Fix to achieve readiness) built in.

Just 2 different ways of approaching it.

I don't think he's talking about emissions........ I don't have to worry about that anymore in FL...... But if he does that might be something he needs

Understood. I just thought I would clarify as the BMS wording is a little confusing that DP fix is included with JB4, "built in DPFIX" from "N54 JB4 -- start here!" thread: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10605

AFAIK - CA is going to ODBII emissions check so it might impact the OP unless their BMW is truly off road only or they plan to swap out DP's each time the test comes up.

I'm considering leaving the Vishnu Procede tune for JB4, so I became confused until I researched a bit, that I would need an external DP fix with the JB4 to have the Procede built in o2 modifier functionality, if I do switch.

Nice option ur tune has..... I'm committed to bms so if that ever becomes a issue for me ill have to get the dp fix.

My issue is I will never know if I am throwing codes for other issues, because my light is always on due to o2 sensors.

Terry says real codes still show up as CEL in dash with JB4 auto clear on. When you see them you will need to go to map 0 to identify them. If you want to see his post where he says just that, I can get it to you.
