Carbon fiber on rims
Hi,
I have a black 06' 325i. Still enjoy and love me car. I'm thinking of recondition my rims and change it to black instead of the original chrome color, plus the wear and tears make me want to get them done. I got quotes for the 4 rims around $600 AU bucks, which puts me off. Just wondering if anyone could advice me about the carbon fiber stick on. The price is good and i also like to put them on myself. I have seen it done on dashboard, trims, etc. but on rims, not so sure. My concerns is are they durable in all weather condition, which i don't have to replaced them every 3 to 6 months? I would valued any advice you have. Cheers! |

you should do it and post pics. that way anyone else thinking of doing it can see how terrible and cheap it looks.

I thought its not a good idea with wrapping, due to the numerous amount of rotations when driving. Plastic dipping? I'll some search about this, but at the same time i don't want them to look cheap.
I'm not in the rush. Will do some more research. And will post up some pics about my wheels. |
