Stop Snowing!!!

My new 2011 335i x-drive finally arrived at the dealership this Friday, 12/24. I ordered the car back in mid November. I have been anxiously waiting for this car.

Of course it wasn't ready for pickup the 24th, Saturday was Christmas, Sunday (today) the dealership is closed, and now with this all this snow there's no way I'll be able to pick it up tomorrow since I have to turn in my old car (2008 328xi coupe with high performance tires that go no where in snow).

It gets better, my SA is off on Tuesdays, ugh. That means the earliest possible day I can get it will be Wednesday if things go well.

Just had to vent a little. I have nothing else to do since I'm stuck inside with reports that we can be getting up to 20 inches of snow!!

Well, you can't control the weather, and you don't want to pick it up squeaky clean only to expose it to salt right off the bat, right? But your SA should be willing to come in on their day off to deliver the vehicle, mine was. But I said no since it was raining that day (Fri.). I just waited until Sat.

You got that right, the last thing I want is salt on the car. I wish it were spring.

Do they ever keep cars inside (besides show cars)? OPs car is most likely getting buried in snow.

I guess at my dealership it comes off the truck, and then it gets driven to a garage where they keep it until the next day. I asked them how come the registration paperwork said 3 miles, but when I got my car it had 182? They said they had to take it to the garage....j/k. Paperwork said 3, and the odometer said 4 when I got it.

I'm with you on this, supposed to take delivery on 328i X-drive tomorrow here in CT, but guessing it won't be ready or I won't be able to get there (although have not been waiting anywhere near as long as you). Enjoy it when you get it this week.

What kind of tires is the new car being delivered with?

The high performance dry weather rft they come with, lol.

I already purchase an extra set of rims and blizzak lm-60s for the car. Plan to put them on immediately.
