Am I eating too much?

I am 5'9 190lbs. I have PT (physical training) at least 3 days a week with Army ROTC which consists of at least 2-3 miles of running and an ab workout to follow. I usually put in 3 days at the gym my self which also includes either abs/run... or lifting/run or just lifting, whatever combination.

I am trying to ditch whatever jiggle I DO have... whether it is me using what I have now and turning it into muscle, or leaning up.

I'd like to know if I am eating too much

-4:00am: Bowl of oatmeal (2 packets)

-7:45am ish: Bagel w/ slice of ham/1 egg/cheese + a muscle milk after my run+abs

-10:40am: Yogurt parfait = plain yogurt, some granola and blueberries/rasb/raisons

-12:30pm: Roast Beef sandwich, tomato, lettuce, onion on ciabatta bread + water

-5:00pm: Spaghetti + small chicken parm + salad with lettuce, kidney beans, olives, mushrooms, green beans and a dab of dressing + the same yogurt parfait

And now it is 5:45 and I'm posting this thread.

It's a worthless thread because you don't care about the content? Then don't fucking post on it.

"You might eat a whole fucking box of spaghetti noodles covered in cheese and butter for all we know."

No, for what you know is what I fucking posted as an example of what I usually eat in a day... I used today as the most recent example.

Here's some more friggin' info

5'9"
190lbs

-2 mile run time = 14:00 ish

-73 push ups in two minutes

-67 sit ups in two minutes

-275-305 max bench press

-135lbs x 31 rep before muscle failure

-225lbs x 10 on the 4th set

This will tell you that I'm not a fat slob, it will also tell you I am in better shape then most. My workout schedule I put out will tell you how active I am and give you an idea of how much energy I may or may not need. There is plenty of usable information in what I have posted to answer my question or offer advice aside from your worthless fucking thread comment in your worthless fucking post.

I am in no way an expert, but you seem to be eating very healthy foods...i'm assuming most of the ingredients you use are fresh, not proccessed or frozen and that's a big plus...the amount of excercise you do compared to the amout, and quality of the food you're eating seems pretty normal to me, if not better than most...

Nothing was pre-made... except for maybe the chicken parm. I don't use mayo on anything and if I do use salad dressing on anything it's fat free or something. I'd like to think I am eating right, but not TOO much for the amount of training I am doing.

I know a lot of people that train and just slice what they eat in half, if that to cut weight or lean up but that is essentially just starving yourself. I'd like to hope that the eating habits I am sticking with currently on top of my workouts will help me lean up, or build muscle from the fat I do have.

For your level of physical activity I would say no. It seems like you're also eating relatively small meals (by U.S. standards), but more frequently. This is a good thing, in particular it will help guard against acid reflux, and help better maintain a health metabolism.

I have always been the function over fashion type of guy. I look good now, and I am significantly above average in terms of fitness, but not the most cut person on earth. I wanted to see if my intake was hindering my performance potential more than aiding it.

I think I put on most of my weight from lifting for strength... I went from 165lbs in 2006 to 184lbs in 2009 but I also increased my strength. Bench for example I would be happy to put up 225lbs a few times then. My last bench was 275lbs x 2 which should be a solid 305lb max.

I don't know...you seem to be around 175-180...scale doesn't lie though (pics with shirt off are better to determine this, no homo). My bro is your kind of build around your height and he's like 160 (that's heavy for him).

Dude if you're pushing that much weight (bench press etc) don't worry about eating too much, just eat right/healthy and you are. Keep up the good work is all I have to say

Poor Bastard. It looks like your hairline is receding. You'll be bald within 5 years.
